My condolences to the families of Michael O'Hare/Michael Clarke Duncan

I want to say thank you Michael O'Hare and Michael Clarke Duncan for putting a smile on my face over the years whether it was on TV shows, movies or Talk Shows... You both have entertained me in many different ways with how talented you both are. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to each and every member to the families of these 2 great people! It's too bad I never got the chance to meet both of them but in my heart I'll never forget them by watching shows like Babylon 5 and movies like The Green Mile! May they RIP!! Much love!

Congrats to Rachel Fine and Richie Wilson

I know I did this a few weeks ago but I would like to take the time once again to congratulate Rachel Fine and Richie Wilson on their marriage today!! It puts a smile on my face to see Rachel Fine happy! She has made me happy in the last few years with her kindness, music and of course her contributions on the Howard Stern Show! Thank you for your warmth and kindness..I will always cherish and never take it for granted...my warmest regards and wishes to you and your hubby for a marriage that will last a lifetime! I always will have you in my thoughts! Much love! XO

Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Confederate Flag

Is it just me or am I missing something here?! The Civil rights movement ended in the 60's...you have a show called All in the Family in the same decade that had a racist character..the show was great and funny but yet no one made a big deal out of it. Same thing in the 70's with The Jeffersons..George was mildly racist and made jokes that are timeless that I loved and everyone else loved because it was just a comedy show..why wasn't that show taken off the air?! Dukes of Hazzard has the confederate flag but yet the show last 6 years...Lynyrd Skynyrd same thing with the flag and band is supported by so many people it's not funny..now in 2012 people are complaining about LS and the Flag? This is just stupid... Pick your moments to point out racism...I am against racism too and what this country went through for many years was horrible but yet people are picking odd moments to complain about things.. Why is the confederate flag OK on top of a Dodge Charger but yet the Nazi symbol is considered a no no..both flags represent horible moments in our lifetime... I'm just confused..can anyone please explain to me the inconsistency?!

My thoughts on Michelle Obama's speech tonight and...

You take any president of the past and put him in office instead of Obama and you will still get the same result!! No matter who we elect as president the system is broken..stop pointing fingers and let's call this UNITED States of America..the last I checked this is United we Stand and Divided we Fall...I'm so tired of seeing the Democrats and Republicans pointing fingers at one another... the speech tonight by Michelle was amazing and I personally believe the Obama's need to be in office for another 4 years...The Obama's didn't run American into the ground...it's the politicians who continue to circumvent every move the president makes!! Had McCain been in office instead of Obama the same comments of ignorance and hatred would be for him instead...let's all get this country back together and start working together..I don't hate Mitt Romney but I would rather have a president who is for equality and isn't going to just point fingers every two minutes because he wants to get something done! To me Michelle is inspiring and I love her!! I honestly don't think any person has given this good of a speech since MLK..I'm proud to be alive and see her get involved and speak the truth without pointing fingers! I also have heard Michelle wrote that speech all by herself and took her one month!! I won't give up on my dream and neither should anyone else..When Obama was elected..political analysts predicted this country would get worse before it gets better with the economy..they said that he's not going to change it one term alone...yet people seem to forget that and just want a quick fix..It's pathetic and unrealistic to think that a quick fix is going to happen!

Another goal accomplished-I was on internet radio for the US Open!!

While listening to the US Open from the USOpen app for my Android smartphone..I decided to go ahead and ask a question for #USOpenRadio on twitter regarding tennis... for the first time in my my life I did something like this.. My full name wasn't read plus I wasn't on regular radio but with the hashtag I asked the question and it was on internet radio...to me that is a huge milestone... then to hear the announcer say Sarah from Sacramento just completely made me happy and proud... Every day I'm overcoming some of the fear in my life of doing things like this..my confidence is building and I know that with each goal like this I'm closer to my dream..because I'm not giving up, I'm keeping the faith and I'm taking chances with things that I'm a little scared of or having butterflies. 

After I tweeted that question I was like OMG!! I can't believe I did something like this... it was a little nerve racking to know that my question would be read and answered. Then when he said Sarah from Sacramento, I will read the question after the next serve from Murray again I was like OMG!! I can't believe this happening.. Finally he read the question while I was on the freeway I-5 driving home from work and I couldn't believe it...it was like a dream...again I know this isn't big for some people but for me I've never done anything like this...little by little more things like this will happen.
