Penn State University fiasco...

I won't disclose my nieces' name but I wil copy the convo...

Joe Paterno and the football team of PSU got what they deserved and now the healing can truly begin for the families! (This is what I said)

Maybe Joe Paterno did..but why the football teams? They didn't do anything wrong. I have a friend that goes to Penn State and she's quite distraught over the students being punished. They had nothing to do with it. (what my niece said)

and now my response.. Here is the thing... if I am working at a job... someone really messes up but it isn't me... and then the same thing continues to happen...then guess what..there are stricter rules for everyone... the old saying as one person ruined it all for everyone.. Me working security...we have multiple accounts of jobs that we have to work out of. If one security officer does something really bad..then it effects everyone...not just the person that screwed up.. if our security company loses accounts then I lose hours and lose my job because people get laid off. I'm not saying it's completely right but you have to look at it as a business standpoint and something that effects everyone... football isn't more important that all these kids who were molested and abused... Messing with kids the way Sandusky and the organization did isn't a laughing matter...this isn't about punishing PSU but showing that football isn't more important than human lives... In 38 years of being alive..I've never heard of anything quite so evil and awful like this... This has nothing to do with the students being punished but you can't allow something like this to happen again...this also isn't eye for an eye the whole world goes blind but stuff like this is inhumane and not excusable. Joe Paterno and Sandusky were there just as much as the players were and students..everyone is affected...it's kinda not fair but at the same time a message needs to be out there to prevent this from happening again... I hope I made sense but I'm sure many people will agree with me
